Ok, so unfortunately, when I got my PS canister PCed, they obviously needed to sand blast it first. I told them to be sure to cover the holes cause I can't have sand in the system. Well unfortunately they did not, and now there is a ton of sand inside of it. I have completely cleaned ALL of the sand out of the parts you can see, but there is a cylindrical structure inside of it that has a bunch of small holes in it that I can bet there is a ton of sand behind...I just can't get to it, so I'm trying to figure out how to get that stuff out. Could I possibly fill the canister with muratic acid, let it sit, then drain it out over and over again? It will eat up the sand i think, but I'm not sure as to weather it also affects this metal type. I honestly am not sure what to do...just brain storming here. Anyways, if you have any previous experience with this, please let me know cause I KNOW if I just install it as it, eventually it will mess up my new pump and new rack, which would suck a lot.
